Your privacy matters. This Privacy Policy explains how Sous Vide: Times & Temps handles your information. In short: the app works on your device, does not collect data that identifies you, and uses only privacy-friendly anonymous analytics. By using the app, you agree to this Privacy Policy.
1. No Collection of Personal Data
**Sous Vide: Times & Temps** does not collect, store, or transmit any personal data. There is no account and no sign-up, and we never ask for personally identifiable information. Everything you create in the app stays on your device.
2. Local Data Storage
The following is stored locally on your device only, and is not sent to us: - Your saved cooks and cook history with notes - Custom presets and running cook timers - App preferences and settings (°C/°F, mm/inch, theme, language) - Your unlock (Pro) status
3. Offline by Design
The core of the app runs fully offline. The temperature, timing, and pasteurization calculations, the food reference tables, and your saved cooks never require an internet connection and never leave your device.
4. In-App Purchases
The optional one-time Pro unlock is processed entirely by your device's app store (Apple App Store or Google Play). We do not receive or store any payment information. To manage and restore purchases across your devices, the app uses **RevenueCat**, a purchase-management service. RevenueCat processes anonymous purchase data and a randomly generated app user identifier; it does not receive your name, email, or other personally identifiable information. 5. Anonymous Usage Analytics
To understand how the app is used and to improve it, the app uses **Aptabase**, a privacy-friendly, open-source analytics service. Aptabase collects anonymous, aggregated usage events (for example, which screens are opened and which features are used) together with basic technical information such as your device model, operating-system version, app version, and general region. This data is not linked to your identity, contains no personally identifiable information, and is never used to track you across other apps or websites or for advertising. 6. No Advertising
The app contains no advertising and no third-party advertising or ad-tracking SDKs. We do not build advertising profiles, we do not track you across other apps or websites, and we do not sell any data.
7. Data Security
Because all of your content stays on your device and we do not collect personal information, privacy risk is minimal. Your saved cooks are protected by your device's built-in security. If you delete the app, the locally stored data is removed with it.
8. Children's Privacy
Sous Vide: Times & Temps is a cooking tool for general audiences and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect any information from anyone, including children.
9. Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be reflected in the updated policy on our website. Continued use of the app after changes indicates acceptance of the updated policy.
