1. No Collection of Personal Data

**Chess Clock** does not collect, store, or process any personal data. There is no account, no sign-up, and no login. We never ask for personally identifiable information.

2. Local Data Storage

Everything you create in the app stays **only on your device**, including: - Game and match results - Saved game history - Player names, profiles and statistics you choose to add - Time-control presets and custom clocks - Chosen clock face, sound, and app settings This data is not transmitted to us and never leaves your device, except through your own device backups (e.g. iCloud), which are controlled by you.

3. In-App Purchases

Chess Clock offers an optional one-time **Pro** unlock. Purchases are handled entirely by Apple's App Store. To unlock features and let you restore your purchase, we use RevenueCat as our purchase provider, which processes your purchase receipt using an anonymous identifier. We do not receive or store your name, email, or payment information.

4. No Tracking and No Ads

Chess Clock contains **no advertising** and does **not track you** across apps or websites. We do not build user profiles and do not sell or share data, because we don't collect it.

5. Permissions

The app requires **no special permissions**. It does not access your location, camera, microphone, photos, or contacts. It plays optional sound effects and haptic feedback and keeps the screen awake during a game; none of this involves recording or transmitting any data.

6. Data Security

Because all data is stored locally and we collect no personal information, privacy risk is minimal. The app relies on your device's built-in security to protect locally stored content.

7. Children's Privacy

Chess Clock is a general-audience board-game utility and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect any personal information from anyone, including children.

8. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be reflected in the updated policy on our website. Continued use of the app after changes indicates acceptance of the updated policy.
